Louise has a BFA from York University, maintains her registration as an art therapist, and performs locally as a singer with her husband. She has been a visiting artist in several local schools and has just stepped down from the board of the Sculptors’ Society of BC after 10 years of service.  She has studied in Italy, England and the United States, recently having taken courses in Forensic Reconstruction.  Her reconstruction of the skull found in the grave of Tom Thompson has recently been featured nationally.  Included in the list of her commissioning bodies to create sculptures are the Catholic Archdiocese of Vancouver and the Vancouver Law Courts.
