Salish Sea Perspectives
September 7 – 27, 2024
OPENING RECEPTION: Saturday Sept 14th from 2 to 4pm; Artist in attendance.
In her collection Salish Sea Perspectives, Dominique captures the unique light, colour, and texture of the Salish Sea region through vivid hues and textural brushwork. Her work spans a range of landscapes, from the twisting forms of Arbutus trees to the serene sheltered bays and the windswept headlands that define this coastal environment. Each piece is an invitation to connect with the distinctive ecosystem of this sheltered inland sea, where nature’s beauty runs wild.
Dominique grew up exploring the natural wonders of the Salish Sea and feels profoundly grateful to find inspiration in these landscapes which are located on the traditional territory of the Coast Salish Peoples.
