We are pleased to welcome Canadian artist Meghan Hildebrand to our gallery! Meghan’s paintings blend real and imagined landscapes, inviting viewers into open-ended narratives. Through intuitive mark-making and bold experimentation, her work is constantly evolving. Her recent pieces capture the magic of coastal forests, balancing nature’s vitality with traces of human presence. Drawing from her upbringing as the daughter of an artist and a miner, she explores Canada’s dual relationship with the land—both reverent and resource-driven. Originally from Whitehorse, she studied at Kootenay School of the Arts and NSCAD and now resides on BC’s Sunshine Coast. Since 1994, her work has been collected internationally.
